Special Features:

This sparkling tea combines an oolong-jasmine tea infusion with dealcoholised white wine and carbon dioxide. Wine accounts for 50.2% and the tea infusion for 46.3%, with sugar and carbon dioxide completing the composition. ALTHAUS uses Tie Guan Yin Oolong and jasmine tea, while the German white wine is made from Müller-Thurgau, Kerner and Silvaner grapes. No flavourings are added.

The vegan blend can be enjoyed as an alcohol-free aperitif or with food. Served well chilled in a slender glass, it reveals its floral, delicately bitter character and fine bubbles. The dark glass bottle protects the light-sensitive aromas; the label depicts a bird perched on a teacup.

Distillery/Bottler:

Based in Bremen, ALTHAUS also develops its tea range for restaurants and hotels. The team visits tea-growing regions and maintains direct contact with plantations there. Selected lots of tea reach Germany through partners, and the subsequent processing and production stages take place under the company's supervision. This knowledge of tea varieties and their origins provides the background for combining tea and wine in the sparkling tea.
