Founded in 1836, Annandale Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands resumed operations in 2014 after a long period of closure. It produces the whisky, matures it in individual casks and bottles the contents of each cask separately. The ten-year-old whisky from cask 626 is one such distillery bottling.
Man O'Sword is the name given to Annandale's peated single malts, while Man O'Words denotes its unpeated range. Both ranges are offered as single-cask releases matured in various types of cask.
