Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, there are strong Islay smoke and dark Oloroso notes of raisins, dark cherries, and dried plums. Additionally, there are hints of orange peel, cocoa, roasted nuts, leather, and a fine maritime saltiness.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied. Dark dried fruits, spicy sherries, and bittersweet chocolate blend with peat smoke, oak spice, and a salty coastal note. Despite its intensity, it remains balanced and elegant.

The distillery uses traditional methods, including the use of worm tubs, and sources its water from Loch Ardnahoe.
