Special features: This limited release from the Rare Batch series of the Arran Distillery combines rare casks into a unique single malt. After seven years of maturation in bourbon barrels, the whisky spent an additional eight years in French Grand Cru oak casks that previously housed high-quality white wines from a renowned region in northeastern France. This special cask combination gives the 15-year-old Arran a complex aroma and depth.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Rich aromas of classic Arran apple notes, accompanied by orange peel, zesty citrus fruits, and sweet oak.
• Palate: Full-bodied and oily with intense notes of orange peel and bitter citrus fruits, followed by a hint of vanilla brioche and dark chocolate.
• Finish: Long-lasting, oily, and creamy with dominant citrus fruits, increasingly oak-driven, rounded off with subtle hints of dark chocolate and maraschino cherries.
