Special Features:

This twelve-year-old single-cask release matured entirely in Re-Charred Hogshead 306105. The whisky was distilled on 26 October 2010 and bottled by James Eadie in 2023 at a cask strength of 55.1%; the cask yielded 323 bottles.

Tart fruit and floral notes shape the opening. A creamy texture, honeysuckle, citrus peel and red berries follow, while honey and mandarin define the long finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose shows tart fruit and floral notes, complemented by mandarin, honeysuckle, citrus and vanilla.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied and creamy on the palate; spice, lemon peel, vanilla and light chocolate combine with honeysuckle and red berries.
• Finish: The finish is long, with lingering hints of honey and mandarin.

Distillery/Bottler:

This Speyside single malt comes from Aultmore Distillery near Keith. Alexander Edward founded the distillery, which began production in 1897. Its malt was traditionally in strong demand for blends, while standalone single-malt bottlings remained comparatively rare for many years.

James Eadie traces its roots to the historic brewer and whisky blender James Eadie (1827–1904). His great-great-grandson Rupert Patrick revived the family name and its whisky tradition. Today, James Eadie operates as an independent bottler working with single casks, cask finishes and small batches; for this release, the company selected the cask and bottled the Aultmore matured in it.
