Tasting Notes:
Nose: Initially, a delicate scent of citrus fruits unfolds, accompanied by grassy notes and a hint of green apples.
Palate: The taste is full-bodied with a pleasant spiciness reminiscent of ginger and cardamom, along with a subtle sweetness of honey and tropical fruits like papaya.
Finish: The finish is long-lasting and leaves a pleasant warmth with a touch of vanilla and spices.
Distillery/Bottler: The Balmenach Distillery is located in the heart of the Speyside region in Scotland and is known for its traditional production methods, including the use of worm tub condensers, which give the whisky a special depth. Although Balmenach is primarily known for gin production, its single malt enjoys an excellent reputation among connoisseurs due to its robust and characterful flavors.
