This limited design edition presents The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 in a tube specially illustrated by Victo Ngai. The single malt first matures for 14 years in traditional whisky casks. It is then transferred to American oak casks that previously held a carefully selected blend of West Indian rums for a final maturation. Despite this additional finish, the whisky retains its 14-year age statement.

Creamy toffee, vanilla, honey and fresh fruit shape this bottling. Mango, passion fruit, brown sugar and crème brûlée enhance its tropical, dessert-like character, while milk chocolate, raisin and sweet oak round out the aromatic profile. The illustration gives this edition a distinctive design, while the whisky, maturation and alcohol content correspond to Caribbean Cask 14.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, rich, sweet and creamy toffee combines with notes of fresh fruit.
• Palate: The whisky is rounded on the palate, with vanilla and sweet oak accompanying a fruity character that continues to develop over time.

The Balvenie Distillery in Dufftown belongs to the William Grant & Sons group. It produces the single malt, which is released as an official distillery bottling.

Malt Master David C. Stewart was one of the pioneers of cask finishing. For Caribbean Cask, maturation in traditional whisky casks is followed by a final maturation in American oak casks that previously held a carefully selected blend of West Indian rums. The Balvenie preserves several traditional production stages at its site: the distillery has its own barley and floor maltings, as well as a cooperage and a resident coppersmith.
