Belizean Blue Silver combines a light rum style with an unusual bottle. Travellers Liquors distils this white rum in Belize exclusively in column stills, using Fairtrade-certified sugar cane molasses. Its sweet, subtle profile with coconut and vanilla makes it a suitable base for cocktails.

The Frugalpac bottle combines an outer shell made from 94% recycled cardboard with a food-safe inner pouch. The cardboard shell and inner pouch can be separated for disposal. The bottle contains 0.7 litres of rum at 40% alcohol.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals fresh sugar cane and gentle citrus notes with a subtle sweetness. Coconut and vanilla complement the aromas.
• Palate: The rum feels light, smooth and fresh on the palate. Delicate vanilla notes combine with coconut.
• Finish: The rum leaves a long, sweet finish with a very smooth mouthfeel.

Distillery/Bottler:

The story of Travellers Liquors began in 1953 with a bar in Belize City. Jaime Omario Perdomo Sr. served many travellers there and developed his own rum blends for his guests. To gain more reliable control over the quality of his increasingly popular blends, he entered into a partnership with Luis Alberto Espat, who built the distillery in Belmopan.

In 1989, Travellers acquired Espat’s shares, gaining full control of production. The family business and Belizean Blue Spirits Company form the partnership behind the Belizean Blue brand. Travellers distils and blends Silver in Belize.
