Nose: Aromas of dried peaches, pineapple, and molasses, accompanied by a hint of smoke and dried beef.
Palate: Sweet citrus fruits, watermelon, and candied citrus peels, complemented by smoky notes and a touch of lemon and lime.
Finish: Long finish with tropical fruits, various citrus fruits, smoke, and roasted nuts.
Distillery/Bottler: The Benrinnes Distillery, founded in 1826, is known for its characteristic, meaty, and copper-toned flavor, which arises from the use of worm tubs in the distillation process. Gordon & MacPhail, a traditional bottler since 1895, is known for selecting and bottling exceptional whiskies, particularly from lesser-known or closed distilleries.
