Special features: This 16-year-old Benrinnes Single Malt Whisky was bottled by Michel Reick, known as the Whisky Druid, in his Best Dram series. It matured for 16 years in a First Fill Ruby Port Barrique, giving it a unique fruitiness and depth. It was bottled at 54.2% ABV, cask strength, non-chill filtered, and without coloring. The limited edition comprises 292 bottles.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of red grapes and raspberries that develop into strawberry notes. Fresh impressions reminiscent of young Port wine.
- Palate: Fresh and light, with pleasant fruity sweetness and notes of red berries.
- Finish: Medium length, with decreasing sweetness and lingering fruitiness.
