Black Bull 12 combines equal proportions of malt and grain whisky. The Scottish whiskies mature in sherry and bourbon casks before Duncan Taylor brings them together into the blend. Chocolate, toffee and fruit shape its character, while its creamy texture is particularly apparent on the palate and in the finish.

The twelve-year-old edition is bottled at 50% alcohol without chill filtration. This miniature contains 0.05 litres and comes without gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals bold aromas of chocolate, toffee, sherry and vanilla. A lemon sherbet note adds to the bouquet, while ripe cherries broaden the fruity impressions.
• Palate: The whisky feels smooth and rounded on the palate. Milk chocolate and toffee with dark sugar syrup mingle with pears, green apples and plenty of sweet vanilla. Honey and creamy chocolate notes round out the flavour.
• Finish: More pronounced fruit notes emerge in the finish, accompanied by distinctly creamy impressions. The finish lingers, with intense toffee and a delicate honey sweetness.

Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky Ltd. is based in Huntly, Scotland, and is responsible for blending and bottling Black Bull. The company has its own cask warehouses, cooperage and bottling facility there.

Black Bull's history began in 1864 with George Willsher & Co in Dundee. Following the end of American Prohibition in the 1930s, the brand gained an increasing presence in international markets. Today, Duncan Taylor continues this tradition with blends of Scottish malt and grain whiskies.
