The Nick Faldo Edition pairs an eighteen-year-old Blended Scotch with key milestones in its namesake's golfing career. The number 18 has accompanied Sir Nick Faldo since his birth on 18 July 1957: he turned professional at 18, won his first major title at Muirfield in 1987 with 18 consecutive pars, and secured his fourth major victory at St Andrews in 1990 with a score of 18 under par.

The whisky undergoes double maturation in oak casks and is presented as a limited edition in gift packaging. The bottle contains 0.7 litres at 50% alcohol. Duncan Taylor uses neither chill filtration nor added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, dried fruit meets creamy yoghurt and plums with a sweet toffee coating.
• Palate: The caramel feels soft on the palate. Dried fruit, cinnamon and cloves complement it, while subtle dry sherry notes provide a contrast.
• Finish: The finish has good length. Lingering spices mingle with creamy vanilla.

Distillery/Bottler:

Duncan Taylor began in Glasgow in 1938 as a cask broker and trading company. Over the decades, it built up extensive stocks of matured Single Malt and Single Grain whiskies. Today, its operations in Huntly include its own cask storage and bottling facilities, as well as a cooperage. Duncan Taylor thus combines whisky selection and storage with work on the casks and the creation of its blends.

Black Bull's history dates back to 1864. The brand forms part of Duncan Taylor's portfolio and specialises in Blended Scotch Whisky. With the Nick Faldo Edition, Duncan Taylor continues this tradition through a bottling whose age also reflects the golfer's sporting milestones.
