Distillery/Bottler: The Bladnoch Distillery, founded in 1817, is the oldest privately owned Scotch whisky distillery and is located in the southernmost part of the Lowlands. After an eight-year closure (2009–2017), the distillery was revived by Australian entrepreneur David Prior. Under the guidance of Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage, characterful single malts are produced here that reflect regional styles and traditional production methods.
