Valencia oranges and Triple Sec take centre stage in Brockmans Orange Kiss. The orange liqueur adds further citrus notes to the fruit, while juniper and classic gin botanicals provide the foundation. The gin is offered at 40% alcohol in a bottle containing 0.7 litres.

The recipe combines fruit, roots and spices, each with a different role: lemon peel from Murcia complements the orange, while coriander adds notes reminiscent of sage and sweet citrus fruit. Cassia bark provides warm cinnamon spice, and liquorice contributes light woody notes and sweetness. Angelica adds earthy, dry accents, while orris root lends a violet fragrance. Oils from Spanish almonds contribute to the overall smoothness. The juniper aroma can also reveal subtle hints of pine and lavender.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A bold, sweet orange aroma dominates the nose, accompanied by spicy juniper.
• Palate: Juicy orange and lemon shape the palate. Warm cinnamon notes and juniper complement the fruit. The mouthfeel is smooth, with restrained sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

Brockmans is a British gin brand co-founded by Neil Everitt. Its original gin combines juniper and citrus peel with blueberries and dark berries; Orange Kiss continues this fruit-forward approach with a different fruit. The company operates with a small team in London's Soho district and became B Corp certified in December 2023.

As part of its packaging development, Brockmans introduced a lighter bottle from July 2024. Its weight fell from 650 to 500 grams, and the glass contains 51% recycled material from used glass products. The shipping cartons were also updated: they are made from FSC-certified cardboard and use less printing ink.
