Bumbu Rum The Original - 40% - in Tube
Special features: Bumbu Rum The Original is presented in a tube that recalls the historical packaging of sailors from the 16th and 17th centuries. This innovative packaging emphasizes the Caribbean tradition and heritage of rum. The rum itself is based on an original recipe from sailors and traders of that time, who refined their rum with fruits and spices and called it "Bumbu." It is produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, a distillery with over 120 years of history. The rum ages for up to 15 years in old bourbon barrels and is then refined with natural ingredients such as vanilla, bananas, and caramel.
Tasting Notes:

Palate: Creamy and round, with sweet vanilla and tropical fruit notes, followed by cinnamon, spices, and caramel.
Finish: Medium-long and spicy sweet, with a mix of tropical fruit, sweet oak, and vanilla.
Distillery/Bottler: The West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados was founded in 1893 and has been in operation for over 120 years. It uses two continuous distillation columns while preserving traditional manufacturing methods. The yeast used during fermentation is a secret of the distillery and dates back to 1840.
