Burnt Ends brings together whiskies from two countries: spicy Tennessee rye and heavily peated Scotch single malt given a finish in sherry casks after maturation. Barbecue culture inspired this small-batch blend, and its bottle resembles a barbecue sauce bottle.

Rye spice and peat smoke define its character. Apple adds a fruity note, while hints of barbecue and charred wood deepen the smoky side. The whisky is bottled at 45% in 0.5-litre bottles.

• Nose: On the nose, spicy rye and pronounced peat smoke meet a delicate apple note.
• Palate: On the palate, full-bodied rye spice mingles with smoky barbecue notes, complemented by charred wood. Pepper, mint and eucalyptus, alongside bitter-tart notes, also shape the flavour.
