A finish in Manzanilla sherry casks defines this release from Cadenhead's Original Collection. Distilled in 2010, the Auchroisk matured for 14 years in total, spending its finishing period in Manzanilla casks from 2023. Cadenhead's bottled the whisky in May 2025 at 46%. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

Its sweet, fruity side brings together banoffee pie, ripe fruit and Demerara sugar. Chamomile, milky coffee, buttery pastry and toasted oats add further layers, while buttered popcorn gives the finish a savoury note.

• Palate: On the palate, buttery pastry and a mixture of fruit and nuts meet malty, toasted oat biscuit and clove.

Distillery/Bottler:

Auchroisk Distillery is located in Speyside and began production in 1974; its name is pronounced approximately “OH-thrusk”. It made the single malt distilled in 2010. Independent bottler William Cadenhead Limited selected the whisky for its Original Collection. The company draws on casks from its warehouses in Campbeltown and bottles its whiskies only when it considers them ready.

Cadenhead's traces its origins to a wine and spirits merchant founded in Aberdeen in 1842. William Cadenhead took over the business in 1858 and gave it his name. Since its acquisition by J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd in 1972, Campbeltown has been the centre of its operations.
