This Cameronbridge Single Grain was distilled on 5 December 2007 and matured for eighteen years in first-fill PX sherry hogshead 464996. Best Dram bottled it at cask strength on 22 April 2026 at 54.1%; the cask yielded 264 bottles.

The sensory profile combines rich, dark sherry sweetness with milk chocolate, nougat, fully ripe pear and Baumkuchen. Plum preserve emerges on the palate, while dark fruit and chocolate lead into a long, warming finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals rich, dark sherry sweetness with milk chocolate and nougat, followed by fully ripe pear and, finally, hints of Baumkuchen.
• Palate: Chocolate opens the palate. Dark sherry sweetness, nougat, fully ripe pear and a little plum preserve follow.
• Finish: The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit and chocolate remaining present.

Distillery/Bottler:

The grain whisky for this bottling comes from Cameronbridge Distillery. Best Dram, Michel Reick’s label, released it as an independent single-cask bottling.

Cameronbridge is a large integrated distillery site in Fife and supplies single grain whisky for blends such as Johnnie Walker. Following an investment in 2008, the site has used a bioenergy and water-treatment facility that converts distillation by-products into energy.
