Casamigos Blanco rests in stainless steel tanks rather than wooden casks after distillation. It is made exclusively from blue Weber agaves grown in the clay-rich soils of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave hearts are slowly cooked before the tequila is distilled twice. This keeps agave at the heart of this crystal-clear bottling.

This bottling combines fruity citrus notes with vanilla and a smooth finish. It has an alcohol content of 40% and comes in a 0.7-litre bottle. Casamigos Blanco can be enjoyed neat or used in a Margarita.

Distillery/Bottler:

Casamigos grew out of a group of friends’ wish to create an approachable tequila they would enjoy drinking without salt or lime. The brand name means “house of friends”. Its tequila production is rooted in Jalisco, where blue Weber agaves grow in clay-rich soils and are selected by hand.

The production process includes slowly cooking the agave hearts using traditional brick ovens, extended fermentation and double distillation. The expressions then follow different paths: while Blanco rests in stainless steel, Reposado and Añejo mature in American white oak casks.
