Distilled on 19 April 2016, this Royal Brackla matured for its entire ten years in first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead 282. Whisky Druid bottled the whisky for the Best Dram series on 22 April 2026 at a cask strength of 54.2%. This single-cask release comprises 302 bottles of 0.7 litres each; the whisky is non-chill-filtered, uncoloured and non-smoky.
Nutty sherry, hazelnut and chocolate form the sensory core. Berries, nectarine and caramel add a fruity, sweet dimension before the whisky concludes with a medium-length, fruity and nutty finish.

Royal Brackla distilled this Highland single malt; independent bottler Whisky Druid released it under the name Cawdor Springs as part of the Best Dram series.
The Royal Brackla Distillery has stood on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands since 1812. Its founder, Captain William Fraser, grew his own barley and pursued an independent approach to whisky production. In 1833, Royal Brackla whisky became the first Scotch to receive a Royal Warrant, granted by King William IV.
