Special Features:

The whisky was distilled at Clynelish on 26 September 1995 and matured entirely for 30 years in refill sherry butt #8681. Signatory Vintage selected the single cask for Symington's Choice within the Cask Strength Collection and bottled the whisky at 54.5% on 10 October 2025. The cask yielded 504 bottles; the whisky is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Beeswax, honey and citrus mingle with dried fruit, caramel and vanilla. Maritime salinity and old leather add more austere accents, while clove, dark chocolate and oak shape its spicy, lingering character.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals beeswax, honey, citrus peel and dried fruit alongside maritime notes, subtle salinity and old leather.
• Palate: On the palate, caramel and vanilla combine with dark chocolate, clove and finely integrated oak spice.
• Finish: The finish is long and spicy, leaving bitter chocolate, maritime hints, subtle oak, fruity sweetness and wax.

Distillery/Bottler:

Clynelish is located near Brora in the northern Highlands. The present distillery was built in 1968 opposite the original site, which was founded in 1819. Its spirit is particularly known for a delicate waxiness and coastal character; it is made with barley from the northern Highlands and water from the Clynemilton Burn.

Signatory Vintage operates as an independent bottler, selecting individual distillery casks and overseeing the maturation and bottling of the whisky. For this release, the company selected Clynelish cask #8681 for the Symington's Choice range.
