CRN57 Vision Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: No | Colouring: No

Special Features:

CRN57° Vision is the no-age-statement introduction to The Cairn’s blended malt range. The in-house blending team created it by combining stocks of matured malt whisky. Before the distillery’s own single malts are released, the blend already offers a sensory preview of its intended house style.

The whisky is bottled at 40% in a 0.7-litre bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, vanilla cream and blueberry cake mingle with green apple, gooseberry, lime and summer berries, while cocoa and oak provide further accents.
• Palate: On the palate, crisp apple and citrus meet raspberry, fig, anise and Brazil nut.
• Finish: The finish combines citrus with pepper.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Cairn is located near Grantown-on-Spey, on the northern edge of Cairngorms National Park, and belongs to the independent family business Gordon & MacPhail. The owning family’s generations of experience in selecting, maturing and bottling Scottish malts provide the expertise behind the CRN57° range. Its name refers to the 57th parallel, where the distillery is situated; Gordon & MacPhail bottles Vision as a blended malt.
