Croithli Coillin Triple Cask Irish Whiskey 0,7 l

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 40% ABV | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Croithli Coillin Triple Cask Irish Whiskey is a twice-distilled Irish single malt bottled at 40%. It is initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and then finished in three types of virgin oak. The whiskey is chill-filtered but contains no added colouring.

The Triple Cask name refers to the finish in three different types of virgin oak following maturation in bourbon casks. Its sensory profile ranges from caramel and vanilla to ripe plum and spices, complemented by toffee, sweet oak and a slightly oily texture.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, soft caramel and vanilla are accompanied by clove and fresh ginger.
• Palate: The whiskey is smooth and structured on the palate, with ripe plum, sweet oak, vanilla and layers of sweetness shaping its character.
• Finish: The finish is medium in length and slightly oily, bringing notes of toffee, vanilla and gentle oak spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

Crolly Distillery produces and bottles this single malt at its own site in the western Donegal Gaeltacht. Its approach encompasses the entire process from raw ingredients to bottled whiskey, using local ingredients and water from Donegal. The whiskey is distilled twice in direct-fired copper pot stills and is also matured on site.
