Special features: This extraordinary rum was distilled in Cuba in 1956 and aged for over 67 years in a tropical climate. It was bottled in 2024 in a limited edition of only 271 bottles. The bottle features a self-portrait by the Cuban artist Aconcha, inspired by Afro-Cuban culture and titled "Hoy Como Ayer" (Today like yesterday).
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Complex aromas of tobacco, incense, orange marmalade, beeswax, and tonka bean.
Palate: Rich and intense with notes of plum, dried apricots, ginger, and cocoa.
Finish: Long and persistent, marked by spices, cigars, and an elegant wood note.
