Distillery/Bottler: The Dailuaine Distillery, founded in 1851 in the Scottish Speyside, is known for its high-quality single malts that are often used in blends. The independent bottler James Eadie, named after the Scottish brewer James Eadie (1827–1904), who founded a brewery in 1854 and had his own recipe for a blended Scotch whisky, was revived in 2015 by his great-great-grandson Rupert Patrick. James Eadie specializes in cask finish, single cask, and small batch bottlings of single malt and single grain Scotch whiskies, with all whiskies bottled in natural color and without chill filtration.
