Special Features:

This independent bottling from cask DU925 presents Dailuaine after 15 years of maturation. The single malt was distilled in 2009 and bottled by Hidden Spirits at 50.7% in 2025. Only 283 bottles were produced, each containing 0.7 litres; the whisky is not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Apple and vanilla combine with sweet malt, honey and red fruit. Light caramel, nutty accents and gentle spice round out the bold, creamy character, while the sweetness lingers into the finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is fruity, combining apple and vanilla with light caramel and an underlying nuttiness.
• Palate: The whisky feels creamy on the palate, where sweet malt, vanilla and honey meet red fruit and a light nuttiness.
• Finish: The finish is gently spicy and retains lingering sweetness, nutty accents and a subtle fruit note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Dailuaine stands beside the Carron Burn, around three miles south-west of Aberlour and not far from the River Spey. Founded by William Mackenzie in the early 1850s, the distillery uses a relatively rapid distillation process that contributes to a robust, full-bodied spirit. Much of its production is used in blends, while Dailuaine is comparatively rare as a single malt.

Hidden Spirits is an independent Italian bottler that selects Scotch whisky and rum casks to create limited editions. For this release, the company selected cask DU925 and bottled a total of 283 bottles in 2025.
