Special Features:

Dingle Gin combines the classic London Dry style with a selection of botanicals inspired by the landscape of Kerry. These include rowan berries, hawthorn berries, heather, and orange and lemon peel. The botanicals are steeped in alcohol for 24 hours before distillation. The infused alcohol is then distilled.

The gin is bottled at 42.5% alcohol and is available here in a 0.7-litre bottle. At the World Gin Awards 2019, Dingle won both the title of World’s Best London Dry Gin and the overall award for World’s Best Gin.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Floral aromas open the nose, followed by warm juniper notes.
• Palate: On the palate, the gin is clean and fresh, with lasting citrus freshness.
• Finish: A clear, fresh citrus note persists on the finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Dingle Distillery is in Dingle, County Kerry, on Ireland’s west coast along the Wild Atlantic Way. Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley founded the independent distillery in 2012 after having already been active in the Irish craft beer scene. Their aim was to return to making whiskey in small batches and take an artisanal approach to its maturation. Alongside Single Malt and Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, the distillery also produces gin and vodka distilled five times.
