Dolomiti’s aged Williams-Christ pear spirit combines the flavour of fully ripe Williams-Christ pears with maturation in two stages. Production uses a gentle low-temperature process that preserves the intense fruit aromas. The distillate first rests in clay vessels before continuing to mature in barrique casks. This maturation in wooden casks adds delicate woody notes to the pear character and gives the spirit its golden-yellow colour.

The spirit contains 36% alcohol and is offered here in a bottle containing 1 litre. Its black-and-gold label features a pear motif. Room temperature suits drinking it neat; its fruity, mild character also pairs well with dessert.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: An intense pear aroma leads on the nose. It is accompanied by hints of vanilla and almonds and a subtle floral impression.
• Palate: The spirit feels velvety and smooth on the palate. Ripe pears and fruity sweetness mingle with a gentle woody note.
• Finish: The finish remains fruity and mild, with delicate notes from the wooden casks. It lingers for a long time and fades with warmth.
