Dolomiti Alte Zwetschke combines pronounced fruitiness with the influence of prolonged maturation in stoneware and barrique casks. Juicy, deep-purple plums are gently processed and distilled to make this spirit. Cask maturation contributes woody notes and colour, while plum remains central to the flavour. The spirit is mild and distinctly fruity.

This version is offered at 36% in a 1 litre bottle. It comes without gift packaging and contains no added colouring. It can be served neat at room temperature or slightly chilled over ice.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Ripe plums lead the intense aroma, accompanied by vanilla, wood and delicate almond notes.
• Palate: Plums meet vanilla and wood on the palate. Full-bodied sweetness is followed by refreshing acidity.
• Finish: The finish is long, with fruit notes lingering gently.

Dolomiti uses hand-selected ingredients for its schnapps and fine fruit spirits, with vacuum distillation among its production methods. This gentle process helps preserve the fruit aromas characteristic of each variety in the distillate. Alongside distillation, unhurried maturation of the distillates is part of the company's approach.
