Special Features:

The ten-year-old Dragonjuice Batch 2 is a peated Islay single malt. For this limited release, whiskies from a first-fill Tawny Port barrique, a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt and a first-fill bourbon barrel were married together. The whisky was bottled at 50.4%, yielding a total of 1'035 bottles, without chill filtration or added colouring.

Peat smoke and maritime notes meet vanilla, caramel and dried fruit. Raisins, dark fruit, malty sweetness and nutty, spicy oak accents add depth to the profile. The medium-long to long finish retains smoke, oak, dark chocolate and a subtle salty note.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, peat smoke and maritime notes combine with vanilla and caramel. Dried fruit, a touch of oak and subtle nutty and spicy nuances complete the aroma.
• Palate: On the palate, powerful smoke meets vanilla, caramel and malty sweetness. Raisins, dark fruit and nutty notes round out the profile, while spicy oak provides structure.
• Finish: The finish is medium-long to long. Smoke and spicy oak linger alongside dried fruit, dark chocolate and a subtle salty note.

Whisky Druid is the independent bottler behind Dragonjuice Batch 2. The Dragonjuice range focuses on limited single malts featuring selected cask combinations, while the eponymous druid defines the brand's visual identity.

For Dragonjuice Batch 2, Whisky Druid married the whisky from the three casks and bottled it independently.
