This Distillery Edition celebrates Edradour’s 200th anniversary. The ten-year-old Highland single malt was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. Edradour bottles it at 46% without chill filtration or added colouring. The 0.7-litre bottle comes in a tube.

Its profile combines dried fruit with almonds, chocolate, sweet syrup, fruitcake and warming spices. Oloroso and oak spice give the robust distillery character a distinctly sherry-driven framework.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, raisins and dried apricots mingle with Oloroso, almonds and chocolate.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied and rich on the palate. Spiced fruitcake and golden syrup combine with a hint of honeyed almonds and a delicate note of orange marmalade.
• Finish: The long finish is gentle and warming, with lingering cinnamon, nutmeg and dry oak spice.

Edradour Distillery Co. Ltd. produces this single malt in Pitlochry. Edradour distils, matures and bottles the whisky at its own site.

Edradour was founded in 1825 as a cooperative of local farmers. The distillery continues to operate on a small, artisanal scale with two copper stills and traditional worm tubs; essential parts of its production process have changed very little in around 150 years.
