Special features: This limited edition for the 200th anniversary of the Edradour Distillery was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2025. The 35-year-old single malt matured in a First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt (cask number 368) and was bottled at a robust 62.3% vol. The release is limited to 379 bottles. The whisky is non-chill filtered and contains no coloring.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Intense aromas of dark fruits like raisins and dates, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate and a hint of roasted nuts.
Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with sweet dried fruits, caramel, and a fine spice reminiscent of cinnamon and cloves.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering notes of chocolate, sweet sherry, and a subtle oak spice.
