Special Features:

This limited single-cask bottling is part of Edradour’s 200th Anniversary Edition. Distilled on 12 October 1999, the single malt matured for 25 years in first-fill Bordeaux hogshead 816 and was bottled on 2 July 2025 at its natural cask strength of 55.4%. The cask yielded 294 bottles. This anniversary release is presented in an Ibisco decanter and a premium box.

The sensory profile brings together red and dark fruits, plum and red-wine spice with cocoa and toasted oak. Vanilla and mild pepper add further accents without obscuring the dark fruit. The whisky has its natural colour and is non-chill-filtered.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, ripe red berries, plum and black cherry meet dark chocolate, vanilla and delicately spiced oak.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied on the palate, with blackcurrant, black cherry, toasted oak and cocoa; red-wine spice and mild pepper provide tension.
• Finish: The finish is long and warming, with lingering dark fruit, cocoa and spicy oak.

Founded in 1825, Edradour Distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands and is one of the country’s small distilleries that continue to work with traditional, artisanal methods. Edradour Distillery Co. Ltd distilled this whisky and bottled it as an official Edradour release.
