Special Features:

This single-cask bottling was created for Edradour’s 200th anniversary and matured entirely in a first-fill Madeira hogshead rather than merely receiving a short finish in one. Distilled in 1999, the whisky spent 25 years in cask 901. The whisky was bottled at 55% in July 2025, yielding 294 bottles from cask 901. This limited release is presented in the characteristic Ibisco decanter bottle and a premium box.

Ripe, vinous fruit and honeyed sweetness meet an oily, malty character in this bottling. Citrus and spices add lively accents, while dark chocolate and oak tannins provide depth. The whisky was bottled without colouring or chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Dried apricots, raisins and honey mingle with polished oak and a deep, vinous Madeira sweetness. Subtle spices and a delicate nutty note complete the aroma.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied and oily on the palate. Figs and sultanas meet candied citrus peel, malty sweetness, dark chocolate and hazelnuts, accompanied by toasted and warming spices.
• Finish: The finish is long and warming. Honeyed sweetness, Madeira fruit, dark chocolate and cocoa powder fade alongside gentle oak, fine tannins and lingering citrus spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

Edradour Distillery Co. Ltd distilled the whisky and bottled it from the single cask as an official Edradour bottling.

Founded in 1825, the distillery is located near Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands and is known for its small-scale, craft-oriented production and limited single malts. Edradour has belonged to Andrew Symington, founder of independent bottler Signatory Vintage, since 2002.
