Special Features:

This ten-year-old Highland single malt was distilled in February 2016 and bottled in April 2026. It spent its entire maturation in first-fill Sauternes hogsheads. This was therefore not a brief wine finish: the sweet-wine casks from Bordeaux held Edradour’s new make throughout the full decade. This small-batch distillery bottling was released at 46%, with no added colouring and without chill filtration.

Honey and vanilla open the profile, accompanied by delicate floral notes and ripe stone fruit. On the palate, orange marmalade, fresh apricot and subtle malt notes create a creamy fullness without obscuring the fruit. Gentle woody spice balances the sweetness through the long finish.

Distillery/Bottler:

Edradour Distillery was founded in 1825 as a cooperative of local farmers. The distillery carries out its distillation, maturation and bottling at its site in Pitlochry. Its open cast-iron mash tun is more than 110 years old and remains in use almost every day. A historic Morton refrigerator then cools the wort using cold water alone.
