The Vintage Malt Whisky Company was founded in 1992 by Brian Crook, following his many years of experience in the whisky industry. The independent bottler is based in Milngavie near Glasgow and includes Finlaggan among its Islay single malt brands.
The Islay distillery that produces the whisky for Finlaggan is not disclosed. For Friends of the Fèis 2024, The Vintage Malt Whisky Company was responsible for combining the whisky from the three Tempranillo barriques and bottling the special edition.
