Special Features:

This single-cask release matured for ten years in Fresh American Oak Cask no. 20026. The whisky was distilled on 21 July 2014 and bottled on 16 July 2025 for the Journal des Kirsch series. The cask yielded 224 bottles.

The bottle contains 0.7 litres; the whisky was bottled at 55.3% without added colouring or chill filtration. Cereal, toasted almonds and peanuts meet vanilla, apple and honey. Dried apricot, salted caramel, butter biscuits, white pepper, ginger and citrus peel complement the distinctly salty, mineral and slightly waxy coastal character.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, salted caramel, toasted almonds and dried apricot combine with vanilla and a hint of sea air.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky is powerfully malty, creamy and slightly waxy. Salted caramel and fruity accents mingle with a salty, maritime freshness.
• Finish: The finish is long, with salty and maritime impressions fading into gentle vanilla sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded in 1997, Celtic Whisky Distillerie is located in Pleubian on the northern coast of Brittany. It occupies a farmhouse dating from 1668, facing the sea at the tip of the Sauvage peninsula.

The distillery uses wooden washbacks, two small pot stills, direct firing and slow distillation. Maturation also takes place on the coast. Glann Ar Mor is one of the distillery’s single malts; it bottled the whisky from cask no. 20026 as an official bottling for Journal des Kirsch.
