Special Features:

This eleven-year-old Highland single malt matured in first-fill bourbon barrel GG1426. The spirit was distilled in October 2014, and Hidden Spirits bottled the single cask in March 2026 at 51.9% for the Pop-People Collection by Minea. The whisky has no added colour and is not chill-filtered.

Its profile combines vanilla, caramel and coconut with ripe apples, pears and pale-fleshed stone fruit. A waxy texture and malty sweetness accompany the fruit, while the lingering aftertaste brings together creamy nuances, mineral dryness and wood spices.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose combines ripe apples and pears with vanilla and delicate caramel. Coconut remains subtle, accompanied by a waxy impression.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied and distinctly waxy on the palate. Juicy pale-fleshed stone fruit, vanilla and rich caramel follow.
• Finish: The finish is long-lasting. Coconut, caramel and lingering vanilla sweetness combine with delicate wood spices.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glen Garioch was founded by the Manson brothers in 1797 on the outskirts of Oldmeldrum. It is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries still in operation. The original site included both a distillery and a brewery. The distillery continues to operate in Oldmeldrum near Aberdeen today.

Hidden Spirits is an independent Italian bottler founded by Andrea Ferrari in 2013. The company selects casks of Scottish single malt and releases them under its own labels. For this whisky, Glen Garioch produced the spirit, while Hidden Spirits selected and bottled first-fill bourbon barrel GG1426.
