This Glenburgie matured for three decades in first-fill Oloroso sherry butt No. 2. Signatory Vintage bottled the single cask in 2026 at its natural cask strength of 53.2%. The bottling belongs to the Cask Strength Collection and bears the Symington's Choice selection designation. It is limited to 624 numbered bottles, is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Peach and apple give way to dark dried fruit. Honey and Oloroso combine with toasted nuts, spice and oak over a creamy, oily texture, while bittersweet accents linger for a long time.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose opens with dried figs, sultanas, orange peel and dark chocolate, accompanied by hints of old oak and spice.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied and silky on the palate. Fruitcake, dark sugar syrup, toasted nuts and sweet sherry spice shape the flavour profile.
• Finish: The finish is long, warming and elegant, leaving cocoa, dried fruit and gentle oak tannins behind.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glenburgie was established in 1829 as Kilnflat Distillery, west of Forres in Speyside. The distillery produces a fruit-forward malt primarily for Chivas blends; its own single malt bottlings are therefore comparatively rare and often reach the market through independent bottlers.

For the prestigious Symington's Choice range, Andrew Symington personally selects particularly compelling single casks. Signatory Vintage independently bottled 624 bottles of this Glenburgie.
