Special Features:

This ten-year-old single malt from the eastern Highlands is matured exclusively in American ex-bourbon casks. The bottle and tube received a new design in 2026, featuring a depiction of the distillery in 1825 and a waterwheel motif that reference its history. The whisky itself remained unchanged and continues to be bottled at 46%, in its natural colour and without chill filtration.

Maturation in bourbon casks complements a tropical, citrus-led character with soft vanilla, brioche and baking spices. Pineapple and lemon cream bring freshness, while yellow fruits, vanilla pod and nutmeg shape the clean finish.

• Nose: The nose reveals tropical fruits and citrus, accompanied by soft vanilla and baking spices.
• Palate: The whisky is bright and fresh on the palate, with pineapple, lemon cream, brioche and a prominent citrus zest.
• Finish: The finish is clean and clear, with yellow fruits, vanilla pod and nutmeg.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Glencadam Distillery was founded in Brechin by David Scott in 1825. Its upward-sloping lyne arms promote greater reflux during distillation and contribute to its characteristic profile of tropical and orchard fruits. The ten-year-old whisky belongs to the distillery’s own range and is offered as a distillery bottling.

Angus Dundee Distillers acquired Glencadam in 2003 and resumed production that same year. In the 19th century, the historic waterwheel powered the mill and mash tun; a working waterwheel was installed at the distillery again in 2021. Its motif connects the redesigned 2026 packaging with the site’s history without changing the whisky itself.
