Special Features:

Glencadam Reserva PX initially matures in American oak ex-bourbon casks. The selected whiskies are then married and finished in hand-selected Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalusia. Since 2026, the whisky has been presented in redesigned premium packaging.

The whisky is bottled at 46%, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Its profile ranges from dried fruit and dark chocolate to sweet dessert notes, wood, spices and coffee.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose combines traditional English Christmas pudding, dried figs and dark chocolate with cedarwood and clove.
• Palate: On the palate, maple syrup, toffee made with dark sugar syrup and prunes mingle with maraschino cherries, brandy butter and Black Forest gâteau.
• Finish: The warming finish brings crunchy caramel, fruitcake and candied ginger, followed by lingering cherry jam and espresso.

Distillery/Bottler:

Glencadam Distillery was established in 1825 in the eastern Highlands. After the distillery ceased operations in 2000, Angus Dundee Distillers acquired it in 2003 and restarted production that same year.

Glencadam uses unpeated Scottish malted barley and ferments the wort in traditional Oregon pine washbacks. The whisky matures in historic dunnage warehouses whose origins date back to the distillery’s foundation.
