Special features: This limited special edition was bottled exclusively for the German market and matured from 2014 to 2025 in selected Oloroso sherry casks from Bodega José y Miguel Martín. Bottled at 46% ABV, the single malt presents itself in natural color and without chill filtration. With only 3,000 numbered bottles, this edition offers an exclusive tasting experience for lovers of sherry-matured whiskies.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense sherry notes, accompanied by malty and finely spiced aromas as well as distinct hints of dark chocolate and sweet sherry.
• Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, flavors of dark chocolate and juicy dried fruits like raisins and plums unfold, underpinned by malt and toffee.
• Finish: Long-lasting, the chocolate remains present, accompanied by a fine Demerara sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler: Glenfarclas, which means "Valley of the Green Grass" in Gaelic, is one of the few independent, family-run distilleries in Scotland. Owned by the family since 1865, the distillery stands for traditional Speyside whiskies with rich character and authentic craftsmanship. The consistent maturation in sherry casks gives the whiskies their distinctive depth and complexity.
