The second release in the three-part The Trinity Vintage Series focuses on Glenfarclas’ traditional dunnage warehouses. Following the 2012 vintage, this Speyside single malt was distilled in 2014, matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled on 28 May 2025.
The whisky was bottled at its natural cask strength of 59.2%. It has no added colour and is non-chill-filtered. The thick stone walls, earthen floors and low slate roofs of the dunnage warehouses help maintain consistent conditions, while the casks are stacked no more than three tiers high.
Full maturation in Oloroso casks combines intense sherry notes and dried fruit with dark chocolate, nuts, warming spices and oak. Further impressions of fermented grapes, orange, tobacco and leather broaden its powerful, spicy and oaky character.
