Glenfiddich 12 y.o. - neue Ausstattung

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

The presentation of this twelve-year-old Speyside single malt has been updated for this edition. The whisky matures for twelve years in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks before resting in oak tuns, where the whiskies from the individual casks come together to form a harmonious overall profile. This official bottling contains 0.7 litres, has an alcohol content of 40% and comes in gift packaging.

Pear is at the heart of the sensory profile, complemented by citrus, orchard blossom and caramel. On the palate, sweet fruit combines with vanilla, butterscotch, creamy malt and delicate oak. The distinctive pear note remains its defining characteristic, while the long, gentle finish rounds out the balanced profile.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is fresh and fruity, with pear and delicate orchard blossom coming to the fore.
• Palate: The palate reveals sweet fruit and develops notes of butterscotch, creamy malt, vanilla and subtle oak.
• Finish: The finish is long, smooth and gentle, fading with a light sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

William Grant began building the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown with his nine children in 1886, and the first spirit flowed there on Christmas Day 1887. The company remains family-run to this day. The Glenfiddich brand belongs to William Grant & Sons Limited. This twelve-year-old single malt is an official bottling from the Glenfiddich Distillery. Before bottling, the matured whiskies are married in oak tuns to create a harmonious overall profile.
