The edition in the new 2026 packaging presents Glenfiddich 18 Year Old in the brand’s new visual identity, introduced internationally from April 2026. The redesigned stag is framed by the founding year, 1887, and complemented by a redesigned sans-serif wordmark and a prominent embossed Grant family crest. The design draws on motifs from the family archive and Glenfiddich bottlings from the 1960s.

This 18-year-old Speyside single malt matures in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks. Glenfiddich then brings the selected whiskies together in batches of no more than 150 casks. They remain in wooden marrying tuns for at least three months. This combines the fruity sweetness imparted by the Oloroso wood with the influence of the American oak casks to create a unified profile.

Ripe orchard fruits, baked apple, dried fruit, candied citrus peel, dates, delicate spice and oak define its character. This distillery bottling contains 0.7 litres and has an alcohol content of 40%.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose is rich, combining ripe orchard fruits, baked and delicately spiced apple with pronounced oak.
• Palate: On the palate, dried fruit, candied citrus peel and dates combine with elegant oak.
• Finish: The finish is warming and distinctive.

Distillery/Bottler:

William Grant founded Glenfiddich in Dufftown, where whisky was distilled for the first time on Christmas Day 1887. The distillery remains in the founding family’s ownership and continues to produce whisky at its original site. The brand is owned by the family-run company William Grant & Sons Ltd.

Glenfiddich operates its own cooperage on site, where craftspeople care for the casks used by the distillery. The distillery uses wooden marrying tuns to bring matured whiskies together; for the 18 Year Old, this phase lasts at least three months.
