Special Features:

The whisky matures for 15 years in a combination of first-fill bourbon and first-fill sherry casks. These casks give the light fruit, vanilla and malt a spicy framework of cinnamon and oak. The profile is not smoky. At 43%, this distillery bottling is approachable while remaining clearly shaped by its long maturation. The Single Malt is chill-filtered and bottled without added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh hay and malt flour open the nose, followed by rose hips, citrus fruit and dried fruit. A gentle malty base underpins these impressions.
• Palate: Tropical fruit, candied lemon and apple pie combine with vanilla and cinnamon. A gentle sweetness supports the fruit, while the cask spices add definition.
• Finish: The finish is pleasantly dry, with delicate oak spice and vanilla lingering for a long time.
