Special Features: Inspired by the vibrant colors and aromas of exotic spice markets, Glenmorangie presents "A Tale of Spices," a limited edition that offers a unique flavor composition through the combination of four different cask types. Under the guidance of Dr. Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald, Moroccan red wine casks were used for the first time, giving the whisky a special depth.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A seductive bouquet of floral notes of roses, jasmine, and lilac, accompanied by spicy aromas such as cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chili, and anise. A hint of sweet oak and chestnut rounds off the profile. With a few drops of water, additional fruit aromas as well as a touch of menthol and bread dough unfold.
• Palate: Intense spice notes dominate the taste, particularly ginger, black pepper, and mustard seeds, which impart a robust earthiness. A gentle sweetness from mint candies, brown cane sugar, and roasted almonds complements the profile. A distinctive eucalyptus note runs through the entire palate.
• Finish: A long-lasting aftertaste with notes of cloves, leather, and mint leaves a lasting impression.
