The Glenturret Jaguar D-Type is a Highland single malt matured for at least 35 years. Unveiled in June 2025, this bottling concludes a three-part collaboration with Jaguar celebrating the 70th anniversary of the D-Type and is limited to 270 bottles worldwide.

Six casks shape the composition: three European oak hogsheads previously seasoned with Pedro Ximénez sherry, two American oak casks previously seasoned with Oloroso sherry and one refill American oak hogshead. The PX casks contribute opulent fruit and warmth, the Oloroso casks add vanilla and cinnamon, and the refill cask provides a delicate oak structure.

Bottled at 40.3% alcohol with natural colour, this edition combines mature sherry depth with remarkable freshness. Dried fruit and toffee apple lead through ginger, nutmeg and green apple to a warm, slightly oily finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals rich dried fruit, toffee apple and cinnamon alongside mature, warming sherry sweetness.
• Palate: On the palate, green apple, vanilla, ginger and nutmeg meet finely integrated oak.
• Finish: The finish is warm and subtle, combining fruit with resinous wood and a slightly oily texture.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Glenturret is the distillery and original bottler, while Jaguar is the collaboration partner for this limited anniversary edition. The earliest documented reference to the distillery at The Hosh in Crieff dates back to 1763, when it was recorded as Thurot Distillery. This early record supports its designation as Scotland’s oldest working distillery.
