Special features: This limited edition from the renowned Hampden Distillery in Jamaica was presented as part of the Magnum Series #3. It is characterized by an impressive ester content of 1,000 to 1,100 g/hlpa, resulting in a particularly intense and complex aroma profile. The collaboration with Spanish photographer Cristina De Middel, a member of Magnum Photos, adds an artistic dimension to this edition. Her photographs, taken during her visit to the distillery, adorn the label and capture the unique atmosphere of Hampden.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A rich and complex bouquet with aromas of dried grapes, roasted pineapple, and a hint of acacia honey.
• Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, the rum presents intense fruit notes of apple, pear, banana, and pineapple. Additionally, spicy nuances of sugarcane and ginger unfold, harmoniously blending with floral accents of lily and dandelion.
• Finish: Long and concentrated, with herbal notes of freshly cut sugarcane, herbs like tobacco and straw, as well as floral tones of tuberose. In the aftertaste, aromas of tar, charcoal, bourbon vanilla, and star anise linger.

Distillery/Bottler: The Hampden Distillery, located in the heart of Trelawny, Jamaica, is known for its traditional production methods and the production of rums with high ester content. This bottling was presented in collaboration with the independent bottler Velier and photographer Cristina De Middel.
