Havana Club 3 y.o. 3 Liter

Volume: 3 litres | Alcohol content: 37.5% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: No

Special Features:

Havana Club 3 Años combines the light style of a white rum with three years of cask maturation. It matures in white oak casks. The aged rums are then blended and filtered to restore the rum’s pale colour while retaining the aromas developed during maturation.

This Cuban bottling contains 3 litres of rum at 37.5% alcohol, with no added colouring. The large format provides a supply for the cocktail bar. In Mojitos and Daiquiris in particular, this light, aged rum combines well with lime and the other ingredients.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Delicate pear and vanilla notes appear on the nose, accompanied by a hint of oak.
• Palate: The rum is smooth and fruity on the palate. Hints of pineapple complement a mild spiciness.
• Finish: The finish is rather dry, fading with a light peppery note.

Distillery/Bottler:

Havana Club draws on the Cuban rum tradition of the Maestros del Ron Cubano. These rum masters select aged rums from different casks and balance their blend to maintain a consistent character for the bottling. Their knowledge, passed down through generations, was recognised by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage in 2022.

Havana Club International S.A. was established in 1993 as a joint venture between Pernod Ricard S.A. and Cuba Ron. The company was founded to develop the Cuban brand internationally. Production of the rums is entrusted to a team of Maestros del Ron Cubano.
